(oh everyone except those pesky spammers...)...sorry I have not been able to keep up with everyone's blogs ! I am looking forward to some down time the next few weeks to do that!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">But, I have taught a class or two.....first inspired by StampTV....using the Stampin Up set, Snow Swirled.</span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_gRuPiZU1MF8/Syu8S8V_GbI/AAAAAAAAG0E/Xef3HnXrHmY/s1600-h/HPIM1231.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_gRuPiZU1MF8/Syu8S8V_GbI/AAAAAAAAG0E/Xef3HnXrHmY/s400/HPIM1231.JPG" width="400" /></a><br />
</div><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">and next inspired and cased totally from </span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><a href="http://andreawalford.com/?p=3367">Andrea</a>, I just changed up the colors....stencilled using Stampin Up champagne mist shimmer mist!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_gRuPiZU1MF8/Syu90MO1gDI/AAAAAAAAG0I/70N8pGBaAj8/s1600-h/HPIM1232.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_gRuPiZU1MF8/Syu90MO1gDI/AAAAAAAAG0I/70N8pGBaAj8/s400/HPIM1232.JPG" width="400" /></a><br />
</div><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">So at some point in January I will be moving to a new blog, and going Stampin Up only. Over the past few months I have gained several new SU clients and found myself really enjoying getting into the new products! While I really enjoyed the variety of the wonderful design teams I was SO lucky to be on, I am ready to focus my energy in the SU world.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I am also designing my new blog using SU's My Digital Studio! So far so good...I have a banner and a background! yay for me! I will let everyone know when my new place is up and running, and while I will not be posting everyday, I hope to be back to at least weekly posts.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday time! Hope to see you all in blogland over the next few weeks as I catch up!</span><br />

First of all, thank you all SO much for the kind wishes...I have really needed a break to re-charge....re-organize...re-direct my energy...all that stuff! </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">So as I am stuck here on the sofa with a flu cold virus thing, thought I would stop by and wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving weekend!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I will be back in January, with a new blog...new blog home....and some changes! In the meantime, stay away from all those germs out there!</span><br />

</div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Hey everyone...it is Wednesday and time for another Angels Landing feature! This week the Design Team is featuring stitching, and I elected to go with faux stitching since I cannot sew a straight line! truth be told, this is the first time I have even done faux stitching, so be kind!<br />
</div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><br />
</div><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">I chose another image from last week's release, Seasons' Tweetings. These are such pretty bird images! I colored them with copics and highlighted the leaves and ornaments with Atyou Spica pens. For the stitching, I just pierced holes then connected them with a white gel pen.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><br />
</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">I rounded off the corners of the card as well, just to be a little different! Be sure to stop by all the design team! I know I always love seeing what they have made and come away very inspired!<br />

</div><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Happy Saturday everyone! What a week....snowed here the other day! I was expecting a rainy bleck day today but am sitting here looking at blue skies and sunshine! yay!! Okay, it is cold but....how about a bright and cheery card from <b><a href="http://www.annabellestamps.com/" style="color: #0b5394;">Annabelles Stamps</a></b> to cheer us all up!</span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_gRuPiZU1MF8/Stm6uRHzS1I/AAAAAAAAGww/SrXkb6mHN5c/s1600-h/HPIM1221.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_gRuPiZU1MF8/Stm6uRHzS1I/AAAAAAAAGww/SrXkb6mHN5c/s400/HPIM1221.JPG" /></a><br />
</div><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">After using digital images a lot lately, it is so nice to stamp! I really like to stamp...this is a stamp from the Annabelle Stamps set called Jasmines Cupcake. I decided to pair it with some SU! DSP called Kaleidoscope because the colors remind me of candy and cupcake...yum!</span> <span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">This is another wonderful set from Andrea!</span> <span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Don't you just love the sprinkles too? The metallic base really sets off the colors!</span><br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_gRuPiZU1MF8/Stm6wy7JTxI/AAAAAAAAGw4/iBQ7mRGrZRw/s1600-h/HPIM1223.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_gRuPiZU1MF8/Stm6wy7JTxI/AAAAAAAAGw4/iBQ7mRGrZRw/s400/HPIM1223.JPG" /></a><br />
</div><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Inside I used one of the several sentiments in the set along with a little cupcake stamp. I love the colors of this card! The images are so fun to color, too.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">I have gotten a sneek peek at Andrea's Holiday sets and they are SO fun!!! They will be available November 1 and I hope to get some peeks to you all soon! </span><br />
<div style="color: #6aa84f;"><br />
</div><i><span style="color: #6aa84f; font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Budget tip! I also used a Fiskars embossing plate for the base layer. Have you checked out the Quickutz website? they have TONS of things on clearance...some for only a few dollars...I just placed an order for a few things and received $100 of dies for only $20!</span></i><br />
<br />

Angels Landing Autumn Tweetings and Penguins!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_gRuPiZU1MF8/StMu9ZCTE5I/AAAAAAAAGuw/eYfKoslghiY/s1600-h/HPIM1215.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_gRuPiZU1MF8/StMu9ZCTE5I/AAAAAAAAGuw/eYfKoslghiY/s400/HPIM1215.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /></div><span style="font-family:verdana,helvetica,sans-serif;"> <span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">WOW!! Welcome to this months Angels Landing release Blog Hop! and what a winner it is!!! Today the design team is celebrating two new releases from Judi:</span><br /></span><br /><div style="color: red; text-align: center;"><b><a href="http://www.angelslanding.com/stamps-crafts/products/seasonal/seasons-tweetings.html" style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Seasons Tweetings</a><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"> <span style="color:black;">and</span> </span><a href="http://www.angelslanding.com/stamps-crafts/products/seasonal/penguin-chicks.html" style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Penguin Chicks</a><br /></b><br /></div><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">When I saw this one cardinal image, I immediately went back in my memories to how much my mother loved birds and collected bird ornaments for our Christmas Tree. I decided to use one of the cardinal images in two projects this week. First a suspended glass ornament!<br /></span><br /><div style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><br /></div><span style="font-family:verdana,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">I sized the image in Powerpoint, and printed it on acetate. To color it, I used sharpies and some marvy waterbased markers. I used some jewelry filament to suspend it in the ornament and added some snow glitter to the ornament as well. </span></span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:verdana,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">My second project is so fun...and the options are limitless (almost!) I used grafix rubonz to create my own rubons from printed images! Very easy to follow instructions....I printed the image on the sheet as directed and colored with Bic markits. After applying the adhesive sheet, i was able to rub it right on this glass ornament!<br /></span></span><br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_gRuPiZU1MF8/StR3i-zd7tI/AAAAAAAAGvY/KhhXJBi-iWg/s1600-h/HPIM1219.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_gRuPiZU1MF8/StR3i-zd7tI/AAAAAAAAGvY/KhhXJBi-iWg/s400/HPIM1219.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /></div><br /><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">These images are so perfect for Christmas ornaments. I picked up the plain glass ornaments at ACMoore for $1..I need to get more!</span> <span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">I see many gifts being made!</span><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><span style="font-family:verdana,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"> </span></span><br /><br /><div face="Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif">To celebrate the new releases, I'm offering some <b><span style="color:red;">Blog Candy</span></b>. </div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Carolyn gave us such wonderful images to choose from! I decided to go with a fall theme, thinking of my daughter who is getting ready for mid-terms, and chose this image, Back2School Beauty. All the images I have seen so far as so cute, so gorgeous and so detailed for coloring!<br />
</div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><br />
</div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">To highlight the image, I kept the card simple and went with a long and narrow format. I drew the frame with a pen, and used dimensionals for the image. The image is colored with pencils..and yes, the sentiment is a bit crooked (I knew I should have used that stampamajig!)<br />

</div><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"> </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Hi everyone!! For this week's project with <b><a href="http://www.annabellestamps.com/" style="color: magenta;">Annabelle Stamps</a></b>, I made a little Notecard Holder and 3x3 notecards. These are so handy to have around for those last minute gifts!</span> <span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"> I used the set Helen's Party, and chose to decorate the holder with the balloon and flower stamps.</span> <span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Here are some instructions for the holder. These are borrowed from SCS and you can find the original <a href="http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/notecardtote/" style="color: magenta;">here</a>.<br />
</span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><ul><li style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Start with two pieces of DSP:</li>
<ul style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><li>one 3 1/4" by 7 1/2" that you will decorate for the front/back.</li>
<li>one 2 1/4 by 8 1/2" that will form the holder for the cards</li>
</ul><li><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Use a piece of cardstock 1" by 8" for the handle along with cardstock for stamping and embellishments.</span><br />
</li>
<li style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Score the 3 1/4 by 7 1/2" of cardstock 3 1/4" from each end.</li>
<li style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Use a fancy corner punch to embellish the corners.</li>
<li><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Decorate the front as desired. In my example, I cut a piece of cardstock 3 1/4 by 1 1/4 and used the flower stamp from the set to create a flower border. I also stamped the balloon and cut it out with nestabilities.</span> <span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"> I cut the top of the flower border by hand to give it some personality around the flowers.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Score the 2 1/4" x 8 1/2" piece of card stock at 1 5/8", 2 5/8", 5 7/8", and 6 7/8". This insert creates sides for the holder.</li>
<li style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">There are 1” sections on the scored cardstock. Find the center of each, and use a paper piercing tool to make a hole where the brad will attach the paper handle.</li>
<li style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Apply adhesive to the cardstock strip as shown.<br />
</li>
</ul><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_gRuPiZU1MF8/Ss-K7zEG1vI/AAAAAAAAGsw/pI_HmNMNwug/s1600-h/HPIM1199.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_gRuPiZU1MF8/Ss-K7zEG1vI/AAAAAAAAGsw/pI_HmNMNwug/s400/HPIM1199.JPG" /></a><br />
</div><ul style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><li>To adhere the scored strip to the holder, line up one of the short panels with the bottom and the edge of the holder. Then secure the long panel to the back of the holder.<br />
Finish by folding in the remaining short panel. Adhering the panels in this order helps keep the edges lined up.</li>
</ul><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_gRuPiZU1MF8/Ss-FFpMgkZI/AAAAAAAAGsQ/TfYLl7dYFAA/s1600-h/HPIM1200.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_gRuPiZU1MF8/Ss-FFpMgkZI/AAAAAAAAGsQ/TfYLl7dYFAA/s400/HPIM1200.JPG" /></a><br />
</div><br />
<ul style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><li>Attach the handle with brads.</li>
<li>Create a set of 3x3 note cards to put inside.</li>
</ul><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_gRuPiZU1MF8/Ss-FDns8FdI/AAAAAAAAGsI/ZnCWfiMDg6g/s1600-h/HPIM1201.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_gRuPiZU1MF8/Ss-FDns8FdI/AAAAAAAAGsI/ZnCWfiMDg6g/s400/HPIM1201.JPG" /></a><br />
</div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Hope this inspires</span> <span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">you to make some notecard sets for yourself!! Be sure to stop by the other Design Team members for their projects!</span><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"> <span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Growing up my favorite colors were yellow and orange. In fact, I used to love to wear yellow because people would always say I looked good in that color! (boy, has it been a LONG time since anyone said I looked good in anything! haha!)</span><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><br />
</span><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Anyway, this week's challenge to the Angels Landing Design Team was right up my alley! Use the colors of autumn. I chose this image from the Autumn Tweetings set, and printed it on Neenah ivory paper. I colored it with Prismacolor pencils and blended with OMS, adding a bit of glitter pen.<br />
</span><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_gRuPiZU1MF8/SsjK59BSy5I/AAAAAAAAGm8/ldtuuzlN41g/s1600-h/HPIM1176.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_gRuPiZU1MF8/SsjK59BSy5I/AAAAAAAAGm8/ldtuuzlN41g/s400/HPIM1176.JPG" /></a><br />
</div><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Layering was easy! Just layered the image on orange and yellow. You can barely tell, but I used a Fiskars embossing plate to dry emboss the bottom orange layer. I had purchased these plates a few years ago when I got back into stamping to be used with this hand held doo-hickey for dry embossing...boy that did NOT work! So I tried them out in my BigShot and they work just as well as the Stampin Up embossing plates. I like the subtle effect!</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">and that ribbon was from my stash; I had purchased it because I love the colors! </span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_gRuPiZU1MF8/SsjK6WIMxBI/AAAAAAAAGnE/P4pay6PAlDA/s1600-h/HPIM1177.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_gRuPiZU1MF8/SsjK6WIMxBI/AAAAAAAAGnE/P4pay6PAlDA/s400/HPIM1177.JPG" /></a><br />
</div><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Inside I</span> <span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">printed a sentiment from the same set, and layered it on yellow and orange as well. I really love these colors!!</span><br />

Today Julie asked us to bake...easy for me! I love to bake!! Julie has added lots of new cooking related items to her <b><a href="http://www.scrapbookstoreatyourdoor.com/" style="color: orange;">store</a></b> so I chose this vintage looking paper to create a pocket for the recipe cards that I found online. I added some bling from her store, along with some images using some Crafty Secrets stamps.<br />

</div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Hello everyone!! A very brisk autumn morning here!!! I wanted to share this trio of Autumn project I recently made. I have seen this wreath in the current SU! Catalog along with blogs and really wanted to make one. In addition, I made a card and gable gift box all in the colors of autumn.<br />
</div><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_gRuPiZU1MF8/SsSTD1zl9PI/AAAAAAAAGj8/I9bWsS96xnY/s1600-h/HPIM1169.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_gRuPiZU1MF8/SsSTD1zl9PI/AAAAAAAAGj8/I9bWsS96xnY/s400/HPIM1169.JPG" /></a><br />
</div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">This is a very quick card! I used the Stampin Up set Autumn Days for the pheasant, using two colors ink on the stamp (Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie). The DSP is from Papertey, called Fresh Fruits. I also used one of the SU! Embossing plates for the background! Some nesties and done!<br />
</div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_gRuPiZU1MF8/SsSTEqz7yqI/AAAAAAAAGkE/_q81CeqdqBk/s1600-h/HPIM1170.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_gRuPiZU1MF8/SsSTEqz7yqI/AAAAAAAAGkE/_q81CeqdqBk/s400/HPIM1170.JPG" /></a><br />
</div><br />
<div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">I have never made a gable box, but now that I know how easy it is....more of these will be coming! I followed the directions on SCS, and used So Saffron card stock. I embellished with more Papertrey DSP, and another stamp from the Autumn Days set. The leaves were cut out from the leaves die sold by Stampin Up.<br />
</div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_gRuPiZU1MF8/SsSTF1NJVxI/AAAAAAAAGkM/93VEQ5m1tVw/s1600-h/HPIM1171.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_gRuPiZU1MF8/SsSTF1NJVxI/AAAAAAAAGkM/93VEQ5m1tVw/s400/HPIM1171.JPG" /></a><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: left;">Finally, the wreath! To make this, first I took out a bunch of coordinating DSP in autumn colors and used the Leaves die from Stampin Up. I cut out a LOT of leaves. This is a 6" chipboard wreath base, so you can tell how small the leaves are. I sponged the edges of the leaves to add a bit of dimension. <br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: left;"> <br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">To make the wreath, I covered the wreath form in ribbon, then used hot glue to attach the leaves. I also glued ribbon to the back for the hanger, and then added the ribbon. I kept it pretty simple!</span><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Sorry for the quick post!! busy busy busy...and late for work!!!</span><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; color: orange; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: xx-small;"><br />
</span><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; color: orange; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: xx-small;">stamps: SU! Autumn Days</span><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; color: orange; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: xx-small;">paper: papertrey Fresh Fruit, SU! scraps</span><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; color: orange; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: xx-small;">ink: SU! So Saffron, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie</span><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="color: orange; font-size: xx-small;">tools: Big Shot, Leaves Die, punches, nestabilities</span><br />

For this week's Design Team challenge, Judi is allowing us to make any kind of card. So I thought it was about time I tried a TriFold Shutter card! I used two different Angels Landing sets in this card, the most recent release HoHo Holidays and an older release, seasonal borders.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">All the images are colored with colored pencils, blended with OMS and highlighted with Atyou Spica pens. I looked online for the colors of quails; not sure what color they are! So I tried to make these as close to lifelike as possible.</span> <span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"> So if you see a quail with a santa hat on, hopefully he or she looks like this!</span><br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_gRuPiZU1MF8/Sr-pVUTeRjI/AAAAAAAAGic/vUqPm3jKyLg/s1600-h/HPIM1160.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_gRuPiZU1MF8/Sr-pVUTeRjI/AAAAAAAAGic/vUqPm3jKyLg/s400/HPIM1160.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /></div><br /><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Here is how the card looks closed, as it fits into a standard A2 envelope.</span> <span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Be sure to check out the other DT projects! Well, I have a lot of rub-ons and always forget I have them! So I used rub-ons along with this train image from <a style="color: rgb(102, 0, 0); font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.stampingboutique.com/">Stamping Boutique</a> to create a birthday card for my great nephew who is turning 2~!</span><br /><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><br /></div><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">This card is 4 1/4" square and will fit in a regular envelope...not requiring extra postage! I colored the image with colored pencils and blended with OMS. The train and smoke are two layers to give some dimension to the image. I know my great nephew loves trains so I think he will love this card (as much as a 2 year old can at least!)</span><br /><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><br /></div><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Be sure to check out the other Design Team members and Stamping Boutique for more images! One of the thing I love about digital images is how quickly images can be released!</span> <span style="font-family:arial;">There are lots of Sneak Peeks on <a style="color: rgb(102, 0, 0); font-weight: bold;" href="http://epiphanyartgallery.blogspot.com/">Tracey's blog</a>!</span><br /><div style="color: rgb(19, 79, 92);font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><br /></div><div style="color: rgb(19, 79, 92); font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:78%;">images: Stamping Boutique<br /></span></div><div face="Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif" style="color: rgb(19, 79, 92);"><span style="font-size:78%;">paper: SU!<br /></span></div><span style="color: rgb(19, 79, 92);font-size:78%;" ><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">embellishments: SU! The image is from <a href="http://www.modernsugarblvd.com/">Modern Sugar Boulevard</a> and reminds me of how my mother used to dress when I was little! Always in a dress and apron! I colored the image with colored pencils, blended with odorless mineral spirits and added a spellbinders border (sort of looks like flames..not intentional!)</span><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">I just added a brad in the corner so the top sheet can be moved aside to see the recipe!</span> <span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Stop by the other Design Team Members to see what other yummy breakfast recipes they have!</span><br /></div><br /><img src="http://www.hipposcraps.com/templates/jj/clients/images/Laurianimativesig.gif" />Laurihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06708198401057717499noreply@blogger.com5
