Ways to Use a Monogram and Giveaway Early Warning

Here is something that took me about 5 minutes to make! I have had this paperweight from Photoweights sitting on my craft desk for about a week, begging to be embellished. This week's Way to Use it Challenge on SCS is all about Monograms so I thought I would just make myself something pink !

You cannot get much simpler than this. I used Nestabilities to cut a circle out of a scrap of SU! SP and a scallop out of a scrap of Doodlebug glitter paper. The "L" is from a Technique Tuesday alphabet stamp...just stamped on a 1" circle of DP scrap! Place on the back of the weight, apply the backing and done!

The possibilities are endless with these paperweights. It is almost too simple! Funny, I feel guilty posting this because it was so easy. Check out Photoweights for some great gift ideas!

and for a quick announcement..I just noticed I am almost at 20,000 hits! wow! You guys rock! I am SO appreciative of each and every comment! So, I will be posting a Giveaway sometime this weekend! Stop back and check it out!

Thanks and YAY YAY YAY it is Friday!!!

Oh, I am so glad I came here. I got a box of a dozen glass dome paperweights at a yard sale in the spring for $2 and they've been begging to be used. Now I know what I can make for Christmas gifts. Thanks for the inspiration!!!
