My First House Mouse!

Believe it or not, this is my first House Mouse stamp! I have newfound respect for all you House Mouse addicts out there! Not only are these so cute...they are a challenge to color! But once I figured out my own technique, they are a ton of fun! I ended up using SU! Watercolor pencils, but only after I tried two other techniques, surfed a LOT of blogs, and finally just went with it. I would love some advice from all you HM experts out there!
I finally decided to buy a HM stamp when Julie of Scrapbook Store At Your Door started selling them a few weeks ago. In fact, I think I am heading over there now to buy another one (or two). Also, there is a HM challenge over at Paper Therapy that I will post this in. Now I just need to get on the House Mouse Monday bandwagon!

Here is the inside of the card...definitely the way to live your life! I had a great craft day today, and another one tomorrow as I make two gifts for friends and prepare for three workshops I am teachning in the next month! Yay for weekends like this! Oh yeah, I also did laundry....but you would never know it from what I am wearing!
February starts tomorrow! I love February for many reasons...and have a couple of grand giveaways planned for mid-month! Hope you stop back!

Hello Lauri,

Your card is so cute. HM always make me smile. I don't have any but a friend did send me a couple of images. I hope I don't ruin them trying to color them.

Lauri, HM does seem to be challenging, but you nailed it! This is a cute image and cheerful colors. You've inspired me to tackle the images I haven't inked up yet.
