I am so over Valentines Day! I am so ready for spring! So I used one of the new Doggone Stamps I got yesterday to make a St. Patrick's Day card. I was a bit stumped for the sentiment though; I typed up "where's the Blarney Stone?" but now that I look at it...doesn't make any sense does it??
This bagpipe is so cute with the big ears. But actually, now that I sit and type this, bagpipes are Scottish, not Irish, right??? Are the card police reading this???
I paper pieced his hat and bag with the same paper as the background. This is DSP from SU! called Prestwick from the FW 2008 catalog and I love it; wish they had continued it!
So have you checked out the new dog stamps at Doggone Stamps? I have a few coming! Also, they will be releasing some 1926 images next week that were drawn by their grandmother. Those sound so cool and unusual I cannot wait to see them!
I have been hanging out a lot the past few days in the Doggone Stamps group at Paper Craft Planet. What a fun bunch of ladies! This card is for the Doggone Stamps Sketch Challenge that was posted there. Come join us!!

Love this Lauri, we have Irish relatives. Yeah as for the snow, the midlands doesn't tend to get that affected, Scotland of course gets a lot of snow in the highlands. But we city folk aren't used to it at all.
Lauri, this is soooo cute!! And your blog looks absolutely awesome!! Hugs and Smiles~ Denise
This is superb, Lauri -- I'm half Irish, so you know I love it :)
For another sentiment, I have one that says "If you are lucky enough to be Irish, you're lucky enough!" *hugs*
My last name is O'Brien, and I'm going to have a really hard time figuring out St. Pat cards. There just really isn't much out there that gets me going. I still think you did a great job on this one! Best, Curt
he's so cute! I love the paper!!!
Hey Lauri! I left you something on my blog! Hugs~ Denise
That sentiment reminds me of a joke...about what Irish guys do to the rock at night and then watch all the tourists kiss it in the morning....ewwwww!!!! I kissed it! Not that I needed any more "gift of gab"! It's a very cute card though!
this is so cute, have you ever seen the video of Robin Williams talking about the Scottsman who discovered golf? its on youtube - google it - you'll crack up!
