Do I have to tell you how in love I am with the Two Scoops Rice Designs stamps I received??? This cat says it all..I am CRAZY in love with them!! I stamped them all up on paper the other day so I can color them when I get some time this week. Big, bold images! Love them! and so cute! This cat has such a great look on his face...have to say I feel like this some days!
Being the fan of SU! designer paper that I am, I decided to use paper from the Rainbow Sherbet paper pack. Love these colors! Bright, and cheery and spiro-graphy (remember those??) I colored the cat with my koh-i-nor pencils and used Gamsol to blend the colors. I also used my Spica glitter pens to highlight the note, and dots (and pretty toenails!)
I used a stamp from some Hot off The Press stamps that I have, from the set called Whimsical Words and Doodles. Was not quite sure what sentiment to put...hello seemed safe! I overwrote the stamp with a Spica Glitter Pen as well. And the Ribbon? from my stash..and I think the ribbon took me as along as the card! I seemed to have a real problem figuring out how to get the ribbon to look the way I wanted!
I also want to note that the card sketch is from one of the sketch challenge blogs but I cannot seem to find it now! Sorry! I am so excited to have tomorrow off from work. It is my daughter's 19th birthday and we are going to take a ride to the Culinary Institute in Hyde Park New York for the day! We will have lunch, and dessert (or maybe just dessert) and take in the sights of the Hudson River! Yay! (or and I still have to make her card!)Hope you had a great St. Patrick's Day! Once again, I have accidentally deleted my signature..oops! Have a good one! Lauri
