A few words from the dog

"Hi. This is Chansey. I need to vent. It is spring outside. Why can't I go outside today?? Because Lauri is at work. That's right, she left me home, inside, all alone.

Alone, so very very alone.

The greatest sadness a dog knows is when you leave the house and he does not know if you will come back.

So I am sad today. So sad, and alone. thank you for listening."

Picture of Chansey taken by my daughter, Vicky.

Awwww. I know the feeling! (not being home alone cause I love that :) But my pup is home for at least 8 hrs everyday and he shakes when he knows we're leaving. It's so sad. But they are SO happy to see you when you return!

Hi Chansey, my puppy is Riley and he had a message for you:

"Hi Chansey, I am dying to play outside today, but not only is my mommy and daddy at work, it's pouring!!! I too am alone and sad sometimes- but i'm sure when they get back from work, I just may get a car ride."

Have a great day!

Dear Chansey,
You can come to our house and we will get Granma's 2 Westies like you. We all can run around the yard together and when the 10 yappy dogs next door start barking at us we can sit ignore them. After a day of that noise you will be happy to have the peace and quiet of your empty house. Sorry, we just had to vent about the noise. Make sure that your mama gives you lots of treats!

Hey Chansey! This is Shotsy and Gunther. We are sorry that you feel sad. Our daddy makes us sad sometimes too, but he is home with us a lot more since he lost his job. We try not to worry though when he leaves, cause he tells us where he is going and that he will be back. Does your mommy make you wear silly stuff? Our daddy does, but it's OK cause he gives us treats afterwards. We wish we could come play with you. Tell your mom that she needs to get you a playmate! Shotsy and Gunther (Curt is our Daddy).

poor puppy.... My cat does the same thing. Sits and watches me leave and is in the same spot when I come home. At least someone is wishing we were there - or maybe they're making sure the coast is clear before getting into the pet parties - LOL....

Awwww, poor baby! See how much he loves you?!?! I think this calls for a new squeaky toy and some extra belly rubbing!
Please tell Chansey that Charlie says, "Woof up, dog?" :D
