My first Anya!

Happy end of weekend everybody! I took a few days off from blogging and such, focussed on creating my card kits for a monthly class I am teaching at a local Senior Center. Tuesday is my first class, so it will be a chance to see what interests these folks have! I put together several cards that should be easy to make! Anyway, I also felt a bit of lost mojo, so to speak, so rather than force it I just decided to leave the desk alone for a few days!

But I did make this today! My first Anya! I downloaded this image a few weeks ago from the Greeting Farm and colored it with colored pencils; last weeks' Mojo Monday sketch seemed perfect, so I modified it a bit for this card.

Isn't this the cutest? The little dog reminds me of my Westie, Chansey. I am not at all excited about the pending snow storm, but I know Chansey will love it! I hope to get some pictures of him tomorrow at the height of the snow, out romping...and sitting while the snow falls around him.

Todays Senior Moment! I wanted to use Dew Drops on this card, and only have clear ones. I remember seeing that you could color them with Copics so I tried....and could not figure out why it was so tough to color the top rounded part of them...until I did a blog search and found you are supposed to color the flat bottom...well, that was a lot easier to do!!

Here is a close up of the two Designer Papers I used from American Crafts, Moda Bella. I bought the entire paper pack; the paper is only one sided when you buy it in the pack but I think (if you can find it) you can buy two-sided versions. Anyway, love the colors and patterns!

The inside is a digital download from Stephanie's Homegrown Hospitality new online magazine. I have always loved her doodles, and enjoy reading her blog as well! I colored the doodle in with my markers.

Well, here's hoping March goes out like a lamb!

stamp: Digital Image: Greeting Farm

paper: American Crafts Moda Bella

technique: colored pencil

accessories: dew drops (clear, colored with Tria Markers), ribbon
