Wednesday is Angels Landing Day!

What a fun summer we have planned!!! Every Wednesday, the Angels Landing Design Team will be highlighting cards and projects with the Angels Landing images! and....we will be launching new products every month!! I am so excited to be on this team of wonderfully talented ladies!! For my first official DT project, I made a bookmark using a kookaburra image from the Aussie Animals set.

I loved coloring this image with my kohinor pencils and OMS. I perched him/her on top of a saying I found online. Bookmarks are great ways to use images! This would be a great gift for someone who is an avid reader, or perhaps even an end of year gift for a teacher! The kookburra is set on dimensionals on the dp, which is a beautiful feather print from the Stampin Up set Pink Flamingo.

I am really loving using digital images! Why?? well....pretty simple!
  1. You can resize the images very easily! even flip them!
  2. It is very easy to change the color of the lines in the drawing to any color you want!
  3. They are VERY economical! and....
  4. Instant Gratification! They are delivered right to you via email, no waiting for the postman! and no postage to pay!
You do not have to have any fancy software programs, either. Nor do you need any fancy technical skills! I am a hacker...I just try to figure things out without reading a manual or anything...the instructions Judi has on the Angels Landing site make it so easy!!

Please visit all the Design Team members today; you can find their links to the left. Also be sure to Visit Judi's Angels Landing blog for tons of inspiration! and stop by next Wednesday, if not sooner!

How cute! :)

You did a beautiful coloring job on this bird, especially on the texture for his fuzzy chest. And I like how you've trimmed him leaving a narrow white border. That really makes him stand out from the background.
