Nothing like freshly sharpened pencils for the first day of school! In keeping with the Back to School theme for Angels Landing this week, I altered an empty Hot Chocolate Tin to use as a pencil cup! I added one of the kitten images from the latest Angels Landing release, along with a tag from the Paw Prints collection.
You could attach these flowers to pens or pencils. I added a button and dew drop to the eraser to add a bit of fun to the top. You can find the tutorial here, on Patty's Blog.
I have next week off from work (yay!). I am not going anywhere; my daughter starts her classes and I am going to spend the week cleaning...and purging stuff...and reorganizing...and not working! It will be nice to not think about work for a week! I will be crafting too!! Hopefully I will not over-organize and not be able to find anything!
ETA: Blogger is acting weird!! I had pre-scheduled this to post Friday morning and it posted already! anyway....that is why it says Friday on the post! and I am having a bit of a tiny problem with my hosting service where my signature is stored, will be fixed soon!

You are sooooo creative - this is adorable!!
Another great idea, Lauri. The kittens image looks so cute on this, and those pencil flowers really top it all off.
one of my favorite flowers to make!! Love how you used them as a pencil topper!!
Too cute! I love the flower tops to the pencils... thanks for the link to the tutorial :)
Cute project! When I first saw the cat motif and saw the things on the ends of the pencils, they looked like those cat toys with the multiple thingys for them to chase. Very cute! Best, Curt
