Recipe Challenge Monday! Bon Appetit!

This week's Recipe Challenge from Julie is to create a menu for a Dinner Party. Since I just saw Julie and Julia, I immediately thought of Julia's Child's signature recipe, Boeuf Bourguignon. It's a long recipe, so I ended up creating a 6x6 card that will open up. On the outside, I put the intro from Julia about the dish.

Inside, the ingredients to the left, and the recipe to the right!

If you saw the movie, you know you can make this recipe ahead...so on the back I put the directions for preparing this ahead of time and reheating.

I used paper and embellishments from Scrapbook Store at your Door. I thought the pink and black was very elegant, and made a wonderful setting for a grand dinner recipe. Julie has new stuff in her store, so be sure to check it out! and I hear there are lots of goodies on the way, too!

Julie and Julia is one of the books my son and daughter-in-law gave me for my birthday. I hope to read it before seeing the film!!

Your recipe folder is sophisticated and classy!! I love the color and gorgeous spray of flowers on the front!! Wonderful work, Lauri!

Great color combo on this. That's neat how you've used the reversed pink on black inside.
