Recipe Challenge Monday! It's time for Breakfast


When the holidays roll around, isn't it great to have a go-to dish you can make the night before? This Holiday French Toast recipe is a perfect make ahead recipe, pop in the oven the next morning and wow everyone with a brunch meal.


(The top ingredient in 1 cup brown sugar)

For this recipe card, I used Basic Grey paper from Scrapbook Store at your Door, the sponsor of this weekly challenge. The image is from Modern Sugar Boulevard and reminds me of how my mother used to dress when I was little! Always in a dress and apron! I colored the image with colored pencils, blended with odorless mineral spirits and added a spellbinders border (sort of looks like flames..not intentional!)

I just added a brad in the corner so the top sheet can be moved aside to see the recipe! Stop by the other Design Team Members to see what other yummy breakfast recipes they have!
