Altered Easter Paint Can!

My daughter is going to be away this weekend, so I made her (and her friends) an altered Easter Paint Can! I filled it with candy...and a few little toys and surprises. Even though she turned 18 a few days ago, I still think of her as my little girl!

My project for this weekend (among many!) is to make a light box so I can take decent pictures!! I have found many of the make-it-yourself types online, so we shall see how I make out!

A Sunflower Surprise....

I worked this weekend on a special little gift for April using Sunflower Clipart! I know she loves sunflowers and I did not have a sunflower stamp, so I found some cute clipart and made her this little gift set! A card...notepad folio and pen!!

I resized the images and printed them on white card stock. My new PC came with Corel Paint Shop Pro so I am trying to learn it as I go! The paper is some Imaginisce paper I have (I love the brown paisley), and the ribbon is from Michaels.

The Notepad folio holds a 5" x 8" legal pad; I borrowed the instructions from Debbie and modified them for a bigger notepad.

The pen is one of my favorites to make! So easy and comes out so pretty! You can find instructions for the pen at Rochelle's!

Hhmmmm..I am starting to think I need to have some creative ideas of my own! I just love casing other's peoples creations. There are so so so many talented ladies out there!

Happy Valentine's Day!

I made these cute little candy boxes for two of my co-workers. I cased the design from Rebecca and altered the size to use a 12X12 square of double sided scrapbook paper. I also used silver rivets to connect the sides for the ribbon to go through. Very very easy! and very cute!! TFL!!

I created gift packages for a retirement party recently. The origami boxes with the monogram include 4 glass coasters with photo inserts. I put coordinating paper in the coasters, so the recipients can put their own photos in whenever they want!

Back in December, I created a few corporate gift items to be included in a friends's coffee company gift baskets. Recipe cards, mulled cider, chocolate covered esperesso beans and hersheys truffles were all created in line with their company brand.
