Cheers to you!

I used a couple one of my SU! Sets for the first time this weekend, making a gift for my boss at work. I am really pleased with the result. I went to our local IKEA yesterday and picked up all sorts of inexpensive jars that are perfect for gifts like this.

For the jar, I just made a band of SU! paper and added the Happy Birthday sentiment from the So Many Scallops set. I layered the scallop on a circle I cut using my Nesties (yeah!!) since the band of paper was just a tad too short. There are so many ways you could embellish this jar! The jar was only $1.99, and seals shut so you could put something perishable in it.

The card used two other sets, Lots of Thoughts and Merci. Again, I just layered some SU paper on white, and accented with Hodgepodge hardware. I do not have any an SU! inks (yet!) so I used Colorbox Sky Blue and it matched really well!

Thanks for looking!
