Well, I was certainly feeling ambitious over the past 24 hours! The other night at my upline's workshop, we did a pop up tunnel card. It was complicated, but came out great! So, when I received this Starving Artistamp halloween set, and saw a great pop-up card on their gallery my mind went to work.
Execution however, was tough! Above is the top of my card, fairly straightforward..a nice little scene of a little witch with somethin' brewin. I used my woodless colored pencils and gamsol to blend, then outlines the images with my copic glitter pens. Aren't those ghosts the cutest? I found them in a LSS made by Junkitz. All the DP I used in this, by the way, is from Oriental Trading Company. While I like their patterns, the paper is very thin so you have to layer it on cardstock.
Here is the inside, my feat of engineering (if I do say so myself!) The card we made the other night was smaller (A2), and this card is 5x7 so the first attempt went awry as the measurements I used were out of whack and the pop-out was really a pop-not out.
And here is a side shot. I am really happy with how it came out! I promised a tutorial this weekend on my gift set...if anyone is interested in a pop-up tunnel card tutorial, let me know. There is probably a really good tutorial already out there so I will look around! If not, I will be happy to make one!
Thanks and have a wonderful Saturday!

WOW! This is an amazing card! Love it to bits and pieces!
What a wonderful card. Though I'm not a big fan of Halloween this card could change my mind. Well, actually, I'be been making tricky treaty cards because that's what customers want. So thanks for the ideas. I want others to see your work so I have tagged you for a meme on my Made For Keeps blog. Just a little fun meme but the best part is looking at other new blogs.
Amazing, please do a tutorial on the way you do a tunnel card. It is wonderful.
