Jumpstart Challenge: Heart to Heart

For today, I was inspired by Cammie's outrageously generous Heart to Heart Blog Candy! Here is the story, if you have not read about it yet. Cammie recently lost her mother to Alzheimer's, and decided to donate her commissions from the sale of her latest stamp set sold by Gina K's to the Alzheimer's association. Well, her first donation was matched by the Alzheimer's Association. She also decided to reach out to her fellow crafters and has received over $1000 worth of items to be given to one lucky winner!

I have been fortunate enough to have not had any family member afflicted with this awful disease. I do know other people however, whose families have had to watch their loved ones suffer. Cammie especially wanted to do something special for caregivers, and her giveaway and the spreading of the word about the fight about Alzheimers is just part of the story.
So I created this card to send to a friend whose mother is currently battling this disease. I chose the SU! set Seasons of Friendship from the Winter minicatalog and created a simple card.

The inside sentiment is also stamped simply. This is a great set, and a great cause, and a great generous giveaway!

stamps: SU! Season of Friendship
paper: SU! Baja Breeze, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip
ink: SU! Kiwi Kiss, Chocolate Chip

This card is so touching in it's simplicity, yet so significant. A very good cause, indeed.

beautiful card, and loving sentiment!
Alzheimers is a cruel and evil disease that robs people and their loved ones of so much.
