Stair Step Fold Card

Ever look at a technique or a tutorial and think "boy that looks easy!" Well, that is what happened to me when I looked at this weeks Technique Challenge on SCS. that is, until I tried to make it work with this set! I really wanted to use this set (I LOVE IT!), Scandinavian Season from SU!. So I played around with it and put this together. A pretty simple card, really, compared to a lot of the other ones in the gallery at least! The DP is also from SU! (Ski Slope). This is a great card design, and would work great with a lot of different images. I feel like I definitely could have done a better job with this one!

But I am tired and I still have to finish putting together my IKEA Laxvik shelves...oh that is another story. Did you ever have an Erector Set? Not difficult to put together but you need to have three arms. I have been working on it off and on since Sunday morning and I am almost done!

Oh, I love this card -- will definitely have to use the concept for the next card I make for my sister -- she loves receiving new and unusual card designs.

Are you nuts???? Yours is wonderful! I looked at the gallery, and yours is just as good as the best, and way better than most! Great job! And thanks so much for sharing this too! I had never seen these before, now I can't wait to get upstairs and start making a few! I hope mine turn out as well as your did! Best, Curt
