Pink Flower Therapy

Have you heard about Paper Therapy? Its' a new social networking site that just started up! Well, between SCS, Paper Craft Planet and Paper Therapy, I definitely have to figure out a way to quit that dang day job! It gets in the way of all this fun!!!

There is a Pink Flower Card Challenge at Paper Therapy, and after yet another cold cold day here in Connecticut, I was very happy to spend some time thinking about pink flowers. I used the SU! Set Friendly Flowers, accented with some rhinestones and stamped in Pixie Pink. I double stamped the big flower, used my nestabilities to cut it out and mounted it on some foam squares. The smaller flowers from the set were punched out with a 1" punch and the SU! Scallop Circle punch. I double mounted the scallop circle punch with a pixie pink solid cardstock punch. The paper is from American Crafts, Moda Bella (isn't it gorgeous??)

Here is a peek at the inside and the lined envelope. I am going to be sending this to my Aunt who is in rehab recovering from a stroke she had a few months ago. It was a very serious stroke around Thanksgiving, and unfortunately she was unconscious at home for three days before she was found. But she is now in rehab and making great progress! I hope this brightens her day just a bit! It certainly is bright!

I am going to try to get better at providing the recipes on my cards!

stamp: SU! Friendly Flowers
Ink: SU! Pixie Pink
Paper: American Crafts Bella Moda
