I used the Bella Bleu paper again...here is a close up of the sheet I chose for this card. I have to say, if you look at this paper in the SU! Catalog it looks gray! But it is actually blue...Not Quite Navy to be exact.
The tutorial is so easy to follow. Basically, you start with a sealed envelope and cut off 1 1/2" from the short end. Now you have a pocket! Decorate the large part of the envelope as you wish, keeping in mind you will be crimping it. For this card, it is difficult to see, but I just did tone on tone stamping of the flower from the God's Beauty set using Very Vanilla Craft Ink. I colored the butterfly and sentiment with my Not Quite Navy marker.
For the inside, I decided to just include a blank note card, matted with the bella bleu paper. The ribbon on the top just sticks out of the top a bit making it easy to take out the note! I am so glad it is Thursday!! I have so many ideas and things I want to make....just not enough time these days!!! Have a good one!
