Does that sound strange? Well, I saw the Tea Party designer paper in the current SU! Catalog and thought it looked pretty, then I got it, opened it and knew I absolutely love it. So you will be seeing a lot of it here!
Back around the holidays I bought a lot of these plastic test tubes, so I have to do something with them, right?? Yesterday I went Easter candy shopping, trying to find just the right jelly beans for them. This is the closest I got, but it works!
This Double Candy Test Tube holder template is from Lisa Somerville's blog. I love the design, and she has it in different sizes too! I have used the single one for a bath salts gift. I paired the design with the Tea Party paper and An Egg-cellent Easter stamp set from the current SU! Mini Catalog.
I colored the bunny and eggs with Prisma colored pencils. To give the eggs a little more dimension, I covered them in Crystal Effects. In the spirit of full disclosure, my Crystal Effects blurped on this...so it is a little CE messy...just don't tell anyone!
Here is my favorite little thing of late...Shrinky Dinks!! I have been using them to make my own little charms (sorry to say I have not taken pictures of everything!) I knew I needed to do something to spice up the little tube of jelly beans, so I used one of the stamps from another SU! Set, Playful Petals, that coordinates with the Tea Party paper. Like I said..you will be seeing a lot of this! I have a couple more projects to work on today with the paper and the same set.
I love using Shrinky Dinks to make my own little charms. So easy...I colored these with Sharpies before I baked them. I used jump rings (knew that neglected jewelry making habit would come in handy!) to attach them to ribbon.
Well I feel like I will have a very productive craft day today! Hope you have a wonderful Sunday!

Very cute! We made a single one at our last SCS local shoebox swap. I will have to try it with two this time. Yours turned out great!
