First...a fun project! I was totally inspired by a recent post on Lauren Meader's blog where she used Vitrea pens on glass. I decided to make use of some digital stamps I recently purchased from Angels' Landing...which brings me to my news....I have been selected to be on the Angels Landing Design Team for the next three months! How fun is that??? I am so excited!!!!
For this, I used several images from the Pierced Flowers digital set. Using Photoshop, I layered three flowers and one leaf into a new image, printed it...and used it as a template to copy on the glass!
Here is another look at the other side. This was my first try with these pens, so I just went to the dollar store and picked up a couple of different glass containers to try it out on. So easy! I used the pearl pens from Vitrea, purchasing a set of four at Michaels.I am sure I will be making more projects with this technique; I used digital stamps here but you could use any stamp image at all! Just stamp and use the pattern! Let me know if you would like a tutorial and I will take pictures during the process next time! I see a glass platter in my future....
Hope you had a great Monday! If you had the day off...hope it was a relaxing one!
