Paper Pieced Zinnia

HPIM0874

Using digital images makes paper piecing so easy! I used the Medium Zinnia from Angels Landing Pierced Flowers set and resized it to 4”. I printed it on some scrap DSP (retired SU! paper called Spring Fling). To bling it up a little, I added stickles on the piercing guides, rhinestones to the center and crystal effects to the middle.

HPIM0873 I layered it on a white cuttlebug embossed layer and popped it up on a pop dot. Very versatile image!! A great card to have in the stash!

paper: SU! Spring Fling (retired), Pretty in Pink, Whisper White

accessories: Cuttlebug embossing folder, stickles, crystal effects, rhinestones

Pretty Pretty flower! Love the simplicity of the card. It goes to show you that sometimes you only need one image to make a card pop! Paper piecing is such a fun technique. Love the added bling in the middle of the flower.
