A Watermelon Party

Peachy Keen Stamps started a new Challenge Blog this week ! I love Peachy Keen stamps...they are super fun to color! One of my goals this summer is to participate in some challenges on a more regular basis, and this will be one of them! They provided a great sketch, and I knew it was perfect to continue my Red White and Blue days leading up to the SNR Blog Hop this weekend.

I used the watermelon from the Faceless Fruits set, and the sentiment from Phrases that Stretch.I used my Tria markers on this; I really like them as an alternative to Copics. Since I do not have my own copics, but borrow my daughters, I am trying to find a cheaper alternative as the day will come when I have to buy my own!

The paper is actually digital paper than I downloaded from Krista. It was very generous of her to offer this free kit for download! All it cost me was the paper and print toner to print a few sheets. I resized the sheets down to 5x5 so I was able to print two sheets per page and not have much left over!

Have a piece of watermelon for me!
