I tried something very different with this card and not really sure I like the result but I thought I would post it anyway! I think I need to start a card wrecks version of cake wrecks for my not so wonderful results. Anyway, I was inspired by 2S4Y 32 to try a different style on this card that I going to be giving to my sister for her birthday. I love this paper from SU! (Good Morning Sunshine, now retired) and used that along with a Rubber Stampede stamp I had purchased last year from Michaels on clearance. I wanted to try to do something with a combination of stamping (the pear) with cut DSP.I stamped on watercolor paper and colored with reinker and aquapainter. The pears on the vine are just cut out from the DSP.
I added some micro bead accents to the pear, and mounted it on a Technique Tuesday tile I covered with DSP. I also added a dew drop to the pear on the vine. This is just layered with other DSP and accented with Papertrey ribbon (one of my few lonely PTI items..oh I wish I had more!)
sketch: 2S4Y 32
stamp: Pear by Rubber Stampede
ink: SU! Chocolate Chip, Kiwi Kiss
paper: SU! Good Morning Sunshine, Kiwi Kiss, Summer Sun
accessories: PTI ribbon, microbeads, dew drop
