All the images are colored with colored pencils, blended with OMS and highlighted with Atyou Spica pens. I looked online for the colors of quails; not sure what color they are! So I tried to make these as close to lifelike as possible. So if you see a quail with a santa hat on, hopefully he or she looks like this!
Here is how the card looks closed, as it fits into a standard A2 envelope. Be sure to check out the other DT projects! I know they will be fabulous!

what a cute image! I love this fold too! Haven't tried it yet, but they sure look great! One day.. one day!!
what a gorgeous card - how do you make it?
Tying the ribbons on the two side rectangles is a fun idea. I also like how you've combined those holly images with the quail. Everything works so well together. :)
I, too, made a card for the first time this week that was a different fold and I loved it! funny how we can sometimes be so hesitant to step outside that comfortable box....
but you truly rocked yours!!! it is just gorgeous!!! and of course Judi's images are as precious as can be! your quail are colored perfectly! we used to have lots of them around. you are just so talented! :)

This tri-fold is so cool! I really love the images you chose and the way you colored them up. The ribbon placement is fabulous too! I would have never guessed it was your first time with this fold. This card is Awesome!
