Its a Busy Beauties Launch Blog Hop!

Two years ago when I entered SCS Land, one of the first people I met in a card swap was Carolyn!  I have been following her creative journey ever since and was quite honored when she asked me to participate in a blog hop announcing the launch of her new venture, Busy Beauties!

If you joined me from Heather's blog, welcome!!  You can find the entire blog list over at Carolyn's place.

Carolyn gave us such wonderful images to choose from! I decided to go with a fall theme, thinking of my daughter who is getting ready for mid-terms, and chose this image, Back2School Beauty.  All the images I have seen so far as so cute, so gorgeous and so detailed for coloring!

To highlight the image, I kept the card simple and went with a long and narrow format.  I drew the frame with a pen, and used dimensionals for the image.  The image is colored with pencils..and yes, the sentiment is a bit crooked (I knew I should have used that stampamajig!)

Isn't this image just the sweetest??  Please be sure to go to all the wonderful ladies who are sharing their Busy Beauties today and be sure to check out the store for all the images!

Your next stop is my wonderful friend Barbara, at Made for Keeps!

Gorgeous coloring, Laurie! I like the simplicity --- something I still struggle with! Ya know, this would be a great image for a gift card or surprise spending money for a college co-ed. Hmmmm... I think I have another card to make!

Love ya!

Lauri, Lauri, Lauri....I AM IN LOVE!!!! Talk about GORGEOUS SOPHISTICATION!!! You have created a total knockout with this beautiful card. I love the turquoise and white color palette...so elegant, and the sleek, narrow card is fabulous!!! You are concerned with the sentiment, and all I keep thinking is...I wish I could draw such straight lines cuz it really adds a wonderful dimension to the card!! Absolutley stunning!!! THANK YOU for being a part of this exciting, new adventure!!! You are the best!!!!

Big Hugs and Loads of Appreciation!!!
