Stacked Ribbon Challenge

Hi there! I made this card last night, then realized I could try stacking some ribbon for the Technique Lovers Challenge at SCS. I think I am addicted to coloring images! These stamps are from Eat Cake Graphics, and another card I am considering for the Cutest Card Swap I am in.
How long does it take you to do a card or a scrapbook layout? It seems to take me a long time, primarily because I enjoy the process of creating...I sit, and ponder...and try different papers.....good thing I do not have to make a lot of cards!!!
Have a great Tuesday! I think Spring is here to stay!!
stamps: Eat Cake Graphics

Cuttlebug Challenge!

Today's Try a New Technique Challenge at SCS was to use your Cuttlebug to create a "negative" embossing image. Well, it took me quite a few trys!! I made two cards for my twin nephews who will be 5 in April. I used the Cuttlebug "Happy Birthday" embossing folder, and inked it up with Colorbox Blue Lagoon ink. I wish the ink was a bit darker; I tried a few other inks but there must be some operator error since I did not quite get the results other SCS'ers did.

So....anyway....here are my cards! I got to use this cute Riley stamp from Hanna Stamps! The paper is Autumn Leaves Mod that I picked up from Target on clearance. Thanks for stopping by and I will try to get some better pictures of these tomorrow!

My daughter turns 18 in three weeks so I thought this might be a good card for her. Not too girly, and she loves the color blue!
