Hi everyone! So glad you are here to join us on this months Angels Landing release. Well , every month I eagerly await Judi's next release...then I get it...then my head starts spinning with ideas!! This month was no exception! So glad you are here to joinus as we proudly show our projects using Judis latest releases, Autumn Tweetings and Ho-Ho Holidays. I decided to do my project using this adorable image of the birds around the pumpkin birdhouse. I love this! I thought it would be the perfect accompaniment for a table decoration. Using the Petal Box Timeless Template from PTI, I created a little box to hold candy. This is a big box by the way...held an entire bag!
Using powerpoint, I printed the image on watercolor paper and colored with my SU! watercolor pencils and aqua painters. I love coloring the leaves of fall, so many of my favorite colors (red, orange and yellow). I thought these little bluebirds look so cute! I cut the oval out using nestabilities and shadowed around it with chalk while the die was still attached to the image. This gives a nice border that I have seen so many folks do! I also added a layer of an oval scalloped nestatiibities.
I have a few other projects queued up with this set so you will be seeing more soon! In the meantime, you have a plethora of talented design team members waiting to amaze you!

I know you have a gazillion ideas for the new releases, Lauri, but you sure chose a winner to make first. Your coloring and shading are so subtle -- beautifully done. The oval coordinates well with the petal box's shape, too.
